About

The Development Committee (better known as "DevCom") is a fundraising sub-committee of the NMIS Foundation.  As volunteers composed of parents, grandparents, and guardians, we organize and facilitate fun events to raise money for various Foundation endeavors.  We’ve contributed significantly in acquiring enrichment classes for the school, provided teacher appreciation funding, contributed to the upcoming playground and much more.  Most importantly, we aim to build community and have fun while supporting our students.

If you like to have fun and are excited about giving your time and talent to NMIS to positively impact the future of your child’s education, then this is the group for you! There are many needs within DevCom and each one could use your personal and professional skills!

Volunteers Needed!

To plan and run effective events, we depend on volunteers! Opportunities to contribute at NMIS come in all different shapes and sizes, whether one time or reoccurring commitments, during the school day or after school, or one hour up to the entire day.  Some volunteer opportunities require a background check, but many do not! Whatever time you can contribute will be appreciated.

Background Check

Any volunteer who is on campus while the children are present is required to have a current and valid NMIS Volunteer Clearance.
